Peace Covenant Signing. Interfaith Rally and Unity Walk for Barangay & Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2023
Earlier today, personnel of Calubian Municipal Police Station headed by the PMAJ NEIL FERNANDO M CERDEÑA, ACOP in coordination with COMELEC Calubian headed by Mrs. Joelibeth M. Ong, Election Officer III spearheaded the conduct of Peace Covenant Signing. Interfaith Rally and Unity Walk for Barangay & Sangguniang Kabataan Elections 2023 held at Calubian Sports Complex, Brgy. Poblacion, Calubian,Leyte.
Present during the activity were Atty. Karen C. Cajipo, Provincial COMELEC Supervisor, PLTCOL RICKY C RELI, DPDA Leyte PPO, PLTCOL REY B CABELIN, C, PCADU Leyte PPO, LTC CHARLIE L SACLOT, Commanding Officer 93IB, 8ID, Philippine Army, Religious Sector Leaders/KASIMBAYANAN Faith Based Volunteers and other stakeholders together with the candidates for the BSKE 2023.
The activity started with an ecumenical prayer given by Rev. Fr. Reagan G. Guray, Asst. Parish Priest, Pastor Erwin S. Dela Cruz, Chairman KASIMBAYANAN Interfaith Council/Life Coach and Pastor Bejie Boy Conversion, Life Coach.
The welcome remark was given by no less than PMAJ NEIL FERNANDO M CERDEÑA, Acting Chief of Police of Calubian MPS to welcome the guests and participants of the said activity. Messages from the heads of agencies coming from the COMELEC, PNP, AFP, DepEd and Religious Sectors were delivered to encourage and remind the participant for a Secure, Accurate and Fair Barangay & SK Elections 2023.
Highlights of the activity were the Recital and Signing of the Integrity Pledge done by all the candidates to show their commitment for peaceful election. Activity culminated fruitfully with a Unity Walk and Ceremonial Releasing of Doves.
