Calubian National High School CNHS Celebrates Buwan ng Wika with Stunning Philippine Mythology Representation

Calubian National High School (CNHS) recently held a memorable Buwan ng Wika celebration, showcasing the rich tapestry of Philippine mythology. The highlight of the event was the representation of gods and goddesses by the Grade 12 TVL students, who captivated the audience with their stunning costumes and performances.

Cleark Lester Torlao of Grade 12 - Apollo embodied SIDAPA, the God of Death, with a powerful and mesmerizing portrayal. Marich Relampagos of Grade 12 - Demeter, radiated grace and virtue as IDIANALE, the Goddess of Good Deeds.

The success of the event was a result of the collaborative spirit and dedication of the TVL advisors: Mam Haide Hibe (12-Demeter), Sir Neil Patrick Acidre Mapula (12-Apollo), Mam Riza Quintano (12-Poseidon), and (12-Ares), who poured their hearts into designing and creating the magnificent costumes.

The HUMSS advisors also played a vital role, providing unwavering moral support: Sir Lyster John Capin, Mam Leah Baldesco, Mam Mhaii Antor Ansali, Mam Maribel Resogento, and Mam Catherine Mae Catoy Arpon. The Grade 12 subject teachers also showed their support to the candidates.

Erika Arpon and Company worked their magic, ensuring the candidates looked fresh and radiant with their impeccable makeup skills. Madi Joeniel Peñaranda Golani also contributed to the event.

The CNHS Buwan ng Wika celebration was a resounding success, celebrating Philippine culture and showcasing the talents and collaborative spirit of the students and faculty.
